Using my poncho for extra cover, I manage to ignite a fire despite the wet conditions and cook a tender, flavorful steak on a rock. The night brings strong winds, but my shelter holds firm. In the morning, I enjoy pomegranate tea and discover the aftermath of the storm—fallen trees and fresh snow on the mountains.
