In this video, I head into the woods with low-cost equipment to test its performance in cold conditions. I build a teepee shelter, cook over an open fire, and spend the night with just a wool blanket instead of a sleeping bag. With temperatures at 2°C (feels like -2°C), this overnight was a challenging test of basic gear in tough conditions.

Embark on a challenging bushcraft adventure in the wilderness! I start by crafting a special bushcraft bed, but as snow begins to fall, I set up an enclosed tarp shelter to endure the cold. After refreshing my axe blade, I prepare a delicious dinner on a portable gas stove and settle in for a chilly overnight stay with no warmth in the shelter. The next morning, I face the challenge of all my light sources failing due to the cold, waiting for daylight to pack up and head out.

Caught in the woods during a severe weather warning with torrential rain and hurricane-force winds up to 130 km/h, there was no turning back. Battling relentless rain and gusts, I built a tarp wall tent and heated it with a titanium stove, all while trees fell around me. Despite the chaos, I managed to bake bread with a DIY mini oven, enjoy dinner, and endure a turbulent night. After 2 a.m., the winds ceased, and snow transformed the forest into a magical winter wonderland. An unforgettable experience—both thrilling and humbling—that I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
