The next morning, I make a hot salep, soak in the elevated forest views, and then pack up and head back. A true solo winter camping experience—bushcraft, survival, and adventure all in one!

Surviving the Storm – Cowboy Tarp Shelter & Cooking Steak in the Rain!
Join me on this bushcraft adventure as I head into the woods to build a cowboy wagon-style tarp shelter and cook a delicious steak the cowboy way. But after midday, heavy rain kicks in, leaving me with a challenge—how to start a fire in the rain to cook my meal. Using my poncho for extra cover, I manage to ignite a fire despite the wet conditions and cook a tender, flavorful steak on a rock. The night brings strong winds, but my shelter holds firm. In the morning, I enjoy pomegranate tea and discover the aftermath of the storm—fallen trees and fresh snow on the mountains.
